October 2026: Keep your place after signing in, HPM multi-scenario performance, and safer table edits

October is about protecting your work and your time. If Slope signs you out automatically, your open tabs now take you straight back to where you were, and the Table Editor checks with you before unsaved changes are lost. HPM now supports 500 scenarios, and a dozen fixes make large HPM runs more dependable and formula setup clearer.

New Features

Keep your place when you sign back in

Signed out automatically with several tabs open? After you sign back in, each tab returns to the page it was on instead of the home screen.

Enhancements

HPM Concurrent Scenarios

High Performance Mode now supports running up to 500 scenarios in a single projection.

A heads-up before you lose Table Editor changes

If you’ve edited a data table and then click another table or the copy icon, Slope now asks whether you want to save first. Renaming a table keeps your unsaved edits on screen.

Scrollable projection folders

The virtual folders list on the Projections page now scrolls on its own, so long folder lists stay within reach.

Fixes

  • HPM runs with very long projection horizons and future product aggregates now complete reliably.
  • HPM projections now keep product totals and error counts accurate when a cloud worker is interrupted mid-run.
  • Target Value Match purchases now consistently use the values of the asset being bought.
  • Goal Seek’s “Closest Iteration” fallback now returns the nearest value it evaluated, and its warning names the right variable.
  • Formula validation is easier to follow: dropdown fields show their own error icon, errors clear once a referenced variable’s data type is corrected, and errors in Goal Seek settings stay visible after saving.
  • Swapping values in a static array now saves as expected.
  • Compare & Merge no longer reports differences between tables when only their column order differs.
  • Nested data tables now always refer to a single latest version.
  • Projections using a Data Table Array now explain what to adjust when the array’s source variable isn’t calculated.
  • Duplicated projections now handle additional model point filters smoothly and can be saved as templates.
  • Excel model point files uploaded through the File Manager now show the same date format warnings as CSV uploads.
  • Edit Link now works in model and projection documentation.
