Release 2018.12

Introducing post projection calculations, which execute at the end of a projection, for the same time periods. This allows the ability to do more complex calculations once the rest of the projection has finished.
Compute instance sizes can now be changed on templates/projections which allows users to adjust the size of the virtual machine that each scenario is run on.
Subsets of a scenario files can now be run by providing a range of scenario values in the scenario configuration on templates and projections.
Data table editor has been redesigned for improved usability, keyboard navigation, etc. In addition, the following new features have been implemented on the editor:
Add or delete multiple rows in a single action
Copy and paste into and out of Excel or other spreadsheet applications
Product sets can now be duplicated.
Various UI and usability updates

A new setting is available on calculations that forces the recalculation of that variable at each time index in the projection, regardless of if it has already been calculated during the projection of a previous time index.
Created a new system variable called “Projection Time Index” that always returns the current time index of the projection, regardless of what the time index of the variable is.
Portfolios can now be duplicated.
An icon will now appear next to aggregate product variables to make it easier to differentiate them at a glance.
Model point files are now automatically re-validated when a new file is uploaded via the file manager.
When creating a projection from a template, a new option will appear to name the projection. A default name is provided.
Variables currently being edited are now highlighted in the sidebar.
Removed midnight timestamps from model point records in the reporting data.
Various bug fixes & performance improvements.

Individual scenarios can now be restarted if the hardware fails to initialize for any reason.
Shared and personal dashboards can now be deleted if the user has appropriate permissions.
Significant performance improvements in the calculation engine.
Various bug fixes & minor interface improvements.

Overhaul of formula builder interface for readability and ease of use.
Introduced “Goal Seek” formulas, allowing a calculation of a value based on a target value at a target time index.
Technology updates to the reporting module for performance, scalability, etc.

Introducing Product Sets! This feature changes the way products are associated to portfolios and projections, greatly increasing the flexibility and allowing changes at run time instead of model development. For more information, see our updated help sections.
Assumption set names now display next to data tables and mortality tables that they are responsible for setting, on both templates and projections.
When viewing reporting dashboards, filters now persist across dashboard viewing to make viewing related information easier for users.
Users can now see projection name and run status on the model results main page.
Variable names are now sorted in the Portfolio and Product edit modals.
Current time index is added automatically in the formula builder when referencing a time index variable.
Minor bug fixes and performance improvements.

Introduced the ability to include data tables and mortality tables when exporting a model.
Introduced a setting to indicate “output” variables, which allows users to omit intermediate calculations to the output if they are not necessary, allowing for cleaner output and potential performance gains during a run. This setting can also be overridden on an individual projection to output all variables.
Products can now be duplicated.
Users can now jump directly to execution results from the execution monitoring page upon completion or failure of a model run.
Validation icons now update in real-time without page refreshes, matching the functionality of validation messages.
UI and functionality improvements to the operand control in the formula builder.

Improved model run logging now shows table read errors to help improve the troubleshooting process.
Improved dashboard filter interface now allows users to select multiple options from known values (such as scenarios, products, etc) to speed up the process of filtering dashboard data.
Redesigned model export now allows users to specify subsets of portfolios and projection templates to be included in the exported model.
Introduced the ability to include associated model point files when exporting a model.
Exported models are now compressed to reduce their size.
Added spread formula to present value calculations to adjust spot rate at each duration for discounting cash flows.
Simplified model point field interface by removing sort order from model point fields to allow fields to be read in any order as long as they exist in the file. Field names must be unique as a result.
Bug fixes, minor interface improvements, and performance improvements.

Introduced projection run logs which can be viewed in the reporting module after a run completes.
These logs include detailed information regarding what the calculation engine is doing as well as robust
error information when a problem occurs.
Introduced a financial projection validation summary page where users can see all validation messages
at once and drill down into details
Users can now delete model run results once they are no longer needed
Improved financial projection validation logic around scenario data
